- Keep every automation off until you switch it on
- Stop any automation the moment you turn it off
- Plug only under your own posts, once per post
- Check resurfaced posts for near-duplicates
- Warn you before X's daily limits
- Delete your X data when you disconnect
How X ranks posts
One report outweighs about 350 likes
X's open-sourced For You ranker scores each post by the reactions it predicts. Shares and replies count most. Reports, mutes and “not interested” cost far more than any like can earn, so spammy engagement backfires even when it isn't caught.

Safety questions
No. You connect through X's own OAuth sign-in, and you can revoke access from X's settings at any time. Bangerbird never asks for passwords or browser cookies.
No. X permanently suspends accounts for scripting its website, including through browser extensions. Everything Bangerbird publishes goes through X's official API, and everything else you do yourself in X's own app.
Disconnect your account and your X data is deleted. You can also ask us to delete it at any time.
X has no general rule requiring a label on text you wrote with AI help and approved yourself. Its rules do ban deceptive synthetic media and fake AI personas, and Bangerbird supports neither.
